Through conversations and interactions with PR reps, local businesses and fellow content creators, Imani noticed that oftentimes, contracts were not buttoned-up, expectations were left unmet, and one or both parties were dissatisfied with a certain outcome. “I recognized an opportunity to bridge gaps,” she says.
A Louisiana native and graduate of LSU Law School, Imani Guillory has always been intrigued by the intricate world of legal and political affairs.
After a turn as a stay-at-home mom to her beloved son, who has special needs, Imani discovered a passion for food and cooking, which she parlayed into a successful Instagram account, @the_imani_experience. Imani found joy and purpose in serving as the middlewoman between influencers and brands, building partnerships and solving (and preventing) disputes.
Outside of The Imani Group, Imani delights in trying new restaurants, cooking at home, and spending time with her son.
As an influencer herself, Imani has executed hundreds of brand deals and sponsorships, including national campaigns with Hampton Water, Postino Wine Café, Smashburger, Mod Pizza, Caress, and many others. Locally, she’s partnered with dozens of restaurants, boutiques, spas, hotels, festivals and movie theaters to drive significant engagement and meaningfully boost business.
